Cannon/Original: Cannon
Name: Arwen Undomiel
Birthday: TA 241
Type: Half-Elf/Half-Human
Personality: Arwen appears very calm and serene on the outside. Underneath that exterior is a very strong lady with beliefs and passions as strong as she is. She stands up for what is right and protects those she cares for, along with the weak and injured.
Likes: Walking through the woods, watching the sunset and rise, horses. In love with Aragon
Dislikes: Orcs and those that seek to harm the innocent and good hearted.
Skills: Horse back riding, healing, swordsmanship.
Weaknesses: Love for her father and Aragorn tears her into two. She questions herself too much. Not having her mother for guidance.
General Appearance: 5'10" tall, Dark Brown Hair, Grey eyes, slender body build. She is very graceful when she moves.
Family: Her parents are Elrond of Rivendell and Celebrian of Lothlorien. Her mother Celebrian has passed onto the Undying Lands. Her grandparents on her mother's side are Galadriel, Lady of Lothlorien and Celeborn Lord of Lothlorien. Her grandparents on her father's side are Earendril and Elwing. Her brothers are Elladan and Elrohir.
History: Arwen was said to resemble her foremother, Luthien Tinuviel, who was the most beautiful of the children of Elves and Men and was the first high elf to marry a human and become mortal. Arwen lived in both Rivendell and Lothlorien in peace for many years. Her mother, Celebrian, was attacked and captured by orcs in TA 2510, and though Celebrian was rescued by Elladan and Elrohir and healed of her wounds by Elrond, she tired of Middle-earth and passed over the sea. Arwen stayed in Lothlorien for many years, but returned to Rivendell c. TA 2951. There she met Aragorn while walking in the woods at sunset. Aragorn immediately fell in love with her, although he told nobody but his mother, and Arwen seemed to give him no further notice. Twenty-nine years later, Arwen was living in Lothlorien when Aragorn came to those woods. Queen Galadriel, Arwen's grandmother, clothed Aragorn as an Elf-lord, and when Arwen saw him after their long parting, her choice was made. The Peredhil (half-elves), who were the descendants of Luthien, could choose to become mortal, but until that day, Arwen had no cause to forsake her immortality.
Sample Post: Arwen stood on the balcony of her father's home shutting her eyes as a warm breeze brushed her cheek, caressing it softly. Aragorn laid asleep on the lounge behind her after a long day of debate. She opened her eyes and smiled sadly. Tomorrow he and the rest of the fellowship would leave on their path for Mordor. Turning she looked at him softly feeling her heart tear apart, fearing him leaving; but at the same time knowing for them to have a future this was something he had to do. She would go with him, if her father hadn't forbidden it. While she understood his reasons, it was tempting for her to go anyway. However, Aragorn would never allow her to follow him into danger. So she resigned herself to staying in Rivendell and waiting for him to return to her...
